Speaker: Noam Segal, Director of User Research at Wealthfront

Bio: Noam grew up in Israel, where he served in the Israeli Air-Force and then joined the military industries to lead the UX for Israel’s missile-defense systems. He moved to the US in 2012 to get his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Upon completion of his dissertation, Noam went to Silicon Valley where he’s worked for Airbnb, Intercom, and these days at Wealthfront as Director of User Research. Noam is a lecturer and mentor for all things UX, and he’s also the founder of UX Quests, a multi-channel UX content platform. He’s married with two kids, and he’s especially excited about moving to the Miami area soon, to join the incredible, burgeoning #MiamiTech community!
